When Stravito came to SaaStorm in spring 2025, they had a strong product, an enterprise customer base most SaaS companies would envy, and a website that search engines mostly ignored.

For the keywords their buyers were actually typing into Google, Stravito was ranking for two of them. Not two hundred. Two. In the competitor visibility ranking for those terms, they sat at position 121, behind Bloomfire, Glean, Guru, Document360, and a long tail of companies with bigger content teams and years of SEO history.

Ten months later, Stravito holds the #1 visibility position for that same keyword set. They rank in the top 3 for 128 terms, show up as the cited source in over 100 Google AI Overviews, and organic search has generated €5.5M in qualified ARR pipeline. Not top-of-funnel noise: enterprise deals, with an average pipeline value of €92K per SQL.

This is the story of how we built that engine from scratch.

Note: While this case study focuses on SaaStorm’s SEO, AEO and content contribution, Stravito’s growth was a joint effort. Alongside our work, the Stravito team ran demand generation, brand, product marketing and paid campaigns, and their content and product teams worked with us day to day. Our role was to become a tightly integrated extension of that broader marketing engine.

Before SaaStorm:

  • 2 tracked keywords in Google’s top 100, none in the top 20
  • Search visibility below 1% for target terms (position #121 among competitors)
  • No sitemap submitted to Google Search Console
  • Domain authority of 29 vs. 45 to 55 for top competitors
  • Average SEO content score of 39%
  • No link-building process, 80%+ of backlinks pointing to the homepage
  • 5 to 10 LLM referral visits per month

After SaaStorm:

  • #1 search visibility among tracked competitors (24.9%)
  • 128 keywords in the top 3, 178 in the top 10, 307 in the top 100
  • 114 #1 positions, including citations in Google AI Overviews
  • LLM visibility of ~25% across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and more
  • 28 high-DR backlinks (average DR 71) via a repeatable process
  • €5.5M organic ARR pipeline

The challenge

Stravito sells to enterprise insights, marketing and UX research teams at companies with €1B+ in annual revenue. That is a very specific buyer with very specific questions, and none of those questions were leading to Stravito.

The numbers told the story. The blog existed, but only four posts had more than ten internal links, and over 50 had none at all. The average content score across SEO-driven posts sat at 39%, well below the 80 to 90% range needed to compete for top positions. The backlink profile was weak: a domain authority of 29, around 30% of referring domains toxic enough to warrant disavowing, and 77% of anchors branded. Google Search Console didn’t even have a sitemap submitted.

Meanwhile, competitors like Glean, Bloomfire and Guru had 4K to 31K indexed keywords in the US market and were publishing solutions and use-case pages at pace. Stravito’s own URL structure had two parent directories returning 404s.

On top of that, the search landscape itself was shifting. By 2025, Stravito’s buyers were increasingly starting their research in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity rather than Google. Stravito was getting 5 to 10 LLM referral visits a month. To win, the content had to work in both worlds at once.

Stravito didn’t need a few blog posts. They needed a full organic engine: strategy, content, website, authority and LLM visibility, built to convert enterprise demand into pipeline.

The solution (SaaStorm’s approach)

We started with our 2-week Discovery Phase. We reviewed every internal document, recording and presentation Stravito had, mapped 20+ competitors, and dug into the website, backlink profile, content quality and paid campaigns.

Here’s what we delivered:

  • Competitor gap analysis across 20+ competitors, with the 4 dominant SEO players identified
  • 12 topic clusters representing 130K+ monthly US search volume at an average keyword difficulty of 20
  • A 165-topic SEO content plan, each topic mapped to persona, pain point, funnel stage and Stravito narrative
  • A focused 2025 publishing plan: 80 topics, 63K+ US search volume, split 25% TOFU / 40% MOFU / 35% BOFU
  • Internal linking strategy and audit (average of 2.2 internal links per post, target of 4 to 5)
  • External linking strategy and backlink quality review, including 73 toxic domains to disavow
  • Content audit via SurferSEO across all SEO-driven posts
  • Technical SEO audit: sitemap, GSC warnings, Core Web Vitals, 69% site health score, duplicate metadata, broken links
  • 13 website improvement recommendations covering navigation, URL structure, integrations directory, comparison pages, author pages, the demo form and the pricing page
  • A Google Ads audit, which found ~35% of spend going to irrelevant search terms

Stravito chose to move forward with SaaStorm, and we went straight into execution.

The SaaS content strategy for Stravito

Once discovery was complete, the work moved to building an engine that could win in Google, in AI Overviews, and in LLM answers at the same time. Here’s how we did it:

01. We built the content engine around how Stravito’s buyers actually search

Instead of chasing generic knowledge management traffic, we prioritised topics tied to Stravito’s ICP: enterprise search, customer insights tools, research repositories, competitive intelligence, decision intelligence, and knowledge management by industry (healthcare, manufacturing, pharma). Every article was mapped to a funnel stage and a specific pain point before a single word was written.

The result was 43 human-written, SEO- and LLM-optimised articles over the partnership, each scored 75+ in SurferSEO before publishing. Many started generating clicks and impressions the day after going live, and two articles earned a Google AI Overview citation within a week of publishing.

02. We rebuilt the blog and resources section for SEO, UX and LLM visibility

Content only works if the container is built for it. In the first two months, we designed and coordinated the development of:

  • A new website header with a clean URL structure
  • A new blog homepage, category pages and author pages (E-E-A-T)
  • A new article template with a TL;DR section, table of contents, author bio, FAQ block, related articles and enhanced internal linking
  • A refreshed visual style for hero images so we could produce visuals in-house with no publishing delays
  • Redesigned Resources overview, Webinars, Podcast, and Reports & Guides pages

03. We treated existing content as seriously as new content

Discovery showed that most of Stravito’s existing posts were underperforming on structure and keyword targeting. Rather than leaving them behind, we ran a systematic refresh: 35 articles were re-optimised for 2026 search intent with updated meta and H1s, reworked H2s and FAQs, 3 to 5 new internal links each, republished with a fresh date, and re-indexed in GSC. To support that sprint, our design team created 3 to 20 custom inner images per article.

This protected existing rankings, widened keyword coverage, and gave LLMs the “fresh” signal they reward.

04. We put a link-building engine in place

Before SaaStorm, Stravito had no link acquisition process at all. We built a steady, repeatable one, targeting content pages and commercial anchors rather than the homepage. Over the partnership, we secured 28 high-quality backlinks with an average DR of 71, and from Q1 2026 the targets were realigned to Stravito’s new positioning.

05. We optimised for LLMs from day one

We set up tracking for LLM referral traffic and for Stravito’s presence across 120+ high-intent prompts in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other models. Every article was structured for AI discovery: clear headers, direct-answer formatting, FAQs, TL;DRs and schema.

The impact showed up fast. LLM referral clicks doubled (+108%) within the first month of publishing. By December 2025, Stravito’s LLM visibility had grown to ~25%, the second-highest among tracked competitors, and Stravito articles were being cited directly in Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity responses for prompts like “best enterprise search software” and “best customer insights tools”.

Example #1 (Gemini):

As shown, the SaaStorm blog post is cited as a source in the LLM response.

06. We expanded the website beyond the blog

Discovery flagged that conversion pages were the biggest gap between Stravito and its competitors. Over the partnership we designed new solution pages for Retail, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, CPG, Life Sciences, Financial Services and Media companies, along with a redesigned pricing page and a new “Book a demo” page, giving organic visitors a clear path from reading to talking to sales.

07. We looked at the whole growth picture, not just SEO

Alongside organic, we audited Stravito’s Google and Bing Ads, wrote onboarding instructions for their paid agency, provided ongoing ads monitoring and strategic consulting, ran UXR campaign tests on LinkedIn and Reddit, and supported the team with weekly performance consulting. When we spotted that ~35% of paid budget was going to irrelevant search terms, we fixed it.

08. We repositioned the content plan when Stravito repositioned

In late 2025, Stravito moved its messaging towards AI-powered decision intelligence. We ran a fresh keyword research sprint across every “intelligence” theme (competitive, business, consumer, decision, customer, collective), found 240+ new keywords with 16K+ US monthly volume, and built a 90-topic 2026 content plan. Within weeks, Stravito was already ranking #1 with AI Overviews for terms like “decision intelligence tools”, “best competitive intelligence software” and “business intelligence strategy and roadmap”.

The results

Here’s what 10 months of consistent execution delivered:

  • €5.5M in organic ARR pipeline generated from organic search in 2025, hitting 51% of the annual organic pipeline target
  • #1 in search visibility among tracked competitors, ahead of Bloomfire, eGain, Salesforce, Zendesk, IBM and APQC. Stravito’s visibility index went from under 1% in July 2025 to 24.9%
  • 128 keywords in the top 3, 178 in the top 10, 228 in the top 20 and 307 in the top 100, up from 2 tracked keywords in the top 100 at the start
  • 114 #1 positions, 113 of them with Stravito cited in Google’s AI Overview or featured snippet
  • 86% increase in organic clicks to the resources section year over year, and ~1318% impressions growth
  • 18,041 organic visits and 78 form submissions from organic in 2025
  • ~25% LLM visibility, the second-highest among tracked competitors, up from near zero
  • 28 high-DR backlinks (average DR 71) built through a process that didn’t exist before

One more thing worth calling out. Using account-level engagement data, we could see enterprise teams at companies like Boeing, Bank of America, American Express, United Airlines and Volvo reading Stravito’s organic content, often arriving from ChatGPT or Google, then returning directly. In one case, a Volvo visit to the “Best UX Research Repository Tools” article triggered a sales action to reconnect with a closed-lost opportunity. That’s what organic looks like when it’s built for the right buyer.

“From day one, the goal with Stravito was never traffic for its own sake. We built an engine for a very specific enterprise buyer, made sure it showed up in Google, in AI Overviews and in LLM answers, and then connected that visibility to pipeline. Going from position 121 to #1 in ten months is the visible part. The €5.5M in qualified pipeline is the part that matters.”

A closely connected partnership

We didn’t work as a vendor on the side. We ran a content workshop for Stravito’s content team to share how we build briefs, select keywords and structure articles. We coordinated daily with their HubSpot developer and designers, managed everything through shared ClickUp boards for content, website and paid, and stayed in constant contact on Slack.

Monthly and quarterly reports kept the whole team, from marketing to leadership, aligned on performance, priorities and what was needed next. When Stravito’s positioning changed, we changed the plan with them.

Conclusion

Stravito’s story shows what happens when SEO, content, website work, link building and LLM optimisation are built together, around one clearly defined buyer, from the very first week.

In ten months, Stravito went from two ranking keywords and a visibility score below 1% to the #1 spot in their category, over 100 AI Overview citations, and €5.5M in enterprise pipeline sourced from organic search.

And because the foundation is now in place, the compounding has only just started.
